HttpExtensionsRequestValue Method

Gets the value of the specified parameter from the current HttpRequest. If there is no current HttpContext or HttpRequest, or if the parameter is not found then null is returned.

Parameters

Type: System.WebHttpContext
The HttpContext, typically HttpContext.Current.
name
Type: SystemString
The name of the parameter.

Return Value

Type: String
The parameter's value, if available, else null.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HttpContext. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
