HttpExtensionsPageCommand Method

Get the platform-specific page command from the request. The page command is a generic platform for posting back commands from the page via a hidden "eappgcmd" element inserted via javascript into the DOM of the requesting page.

Type: System.WebHttpContext
The HttpContext object, ignored if null.

Return Value

Type: String
The lower case page command, if any, of the request.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HttpContext. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
