StringExtensionsDistinctChars Method

Extract a string comprised of the distinct characters in the string provided. For exaple "ABBCADEF".DistinctChars() will return a six character string containing a single A, B, C, D, E, F (e.g. "ABCDEF", or "DCABFE"), in no particular order.

Parameters

s
Type: SystemString
The string from which to extract.

Return Value

Type: String
The string of distinct characters.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
