Null-safe, case-insensitive (using OrdinalIgnoreCase) determination of whether or not this string contains the specified string. Note: If either string is null or empty then false is returned.

Parameters

s
Type: SystemString
This string.
other
Type: SystemString
The string to check for inclusion in this string.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
True if both strings are non-null/non-empty and this string contains the specified string (case-insensitively).

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
