CookieExtensionsCookieExists Method

Determine if the specified cookie exists in the request. Use HasCookieValue(HttpRequest, String) to test for existence with a non-null/empty value.

Parameters

request
Type: System.WebHttpRequest
The request.
name
Type: SystemString
The cookie name.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
True if the cookie exists regardless of whether or not it has a value.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HttpRequest. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
